The conference presentation discusses the findings of a systematic literature review (altogether 62 publications) and cross-country analysis that examined the study of women's academic leadership in three countries: Bangladesh, China and Finland. The analysis highlights similarities and differences in the research conducted within these countries, discusses key themes, obstacles, and contexts for women's academic leadership, and proposes directions for future research and initiatives.
