    Description

    Director (Principal Investigator) of an externally funded research project. The PALM project examines the influence of the life-cycle model on the design, construction and introduction of built environment, especially learning environments. Also the life-cycle model based built environment’s impact on service implementation is investigated. The aim is to provide information about how to organize life-cycle based services for children and young people in modern urban and rural developing communities. The first research goal is to create a life-cycle based model of how schools are linked to a) comprehensive organization of children's and young people's services, and b) the production of extensive facilities for different customer groups. The second goal is to investigate if participatory learning environments help to promote successful conditions in children and young people's life in the course of the life-cycle.
