Teaching and learning cultures in transnational higher education

Activity: Talk or presentationPublic talk

Description

"Celebrating International Collaboration" event hosted by the Centre for Higher Education Research and Evaluation (CHERE@LU) at the Educational Research department, Lancaster University.

Presentation abstract: Finnish higher education institutions have significantly increased their transnational education activities recently. What happens when two pedagogical traditions meet in transnational cooperation? Do these encounters change (institutional) teaching and learning cultures, and if yes, how? The seminar explores these questions based on a qualitative study of a community-oriented pedagogical development process initiated during Finnish–Palestinian university collaboration.
