TUT's new laboratory develops cooperative robots

    Description

    Researcher and PhD student Aref Mohammad presents a wheel-mounted iMoro robot that all 14 servomotors work synchronously with each other. The development of the robot started in 2011 from the EU project and was the first robot developed by the project. The robot has been tested in connection with the Puresafe project in the CERN service tunnel. The aim has been to develop a versatile handheld manipulator whose sensors work smoothly.
