Manufacturing Technology

Facility/equipment: Research infrastructure

Equipments Details

Research infrastructure description

Manufacturing technology has traditionally focused on machining and dimensional measurements. There are good tools and software for this. Laser machining has become a research focus in 1998. First, macro applications and from 2006 also micro applications. Additive manufacturing has been studied more systematically since 2016, when the equipment base was renewed. The manufacturing technology research group has done a lot of research together with MSEE's coating technology group.
