Our mission is to understand the complexities of changing sociotechnical worlds in relation to the environment and wellbeing, staying sensitive to the experiences of people living in these worlds. TaSTI houses and organises cutting-edge multidisciplinary research on the role of science, technology and innovation in society. The Centre is structured around four focus areas: Bioscience, health and care; Environment, sustainability and circular economy; Science, higher education and innovation; and Technology, power and democracy. Established in 2002, TaSTI is one of the leading units of its kind in the Nordic region. It engages in active collaboration with researchers and centres worldwide.
