I am currently working as a high-temperature process scientist at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), Netherlands, in the Bio and Circular Technology group. At Tampere University I am a visiting researcher. My main area of research is biomass pretreatment, thermochemical conversion and solid waste management. At present, I am working on improving physical and chemical properties of agricultural and forest residue for different thermochemical applications. I am currently utilising leaching pre-treatment and steam explosion to improve fuel properties and make this pretreatment feasible for large-scale industrial applications.
Before Tampere University, I worked as a research associate in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. I have worked on several projects in the past six years ranging from lab-scale studies to city-wide management planning & designs. I always love to share and hear new ideas and always looking for potential collaborations.
