I have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering—System Analysis and Planning from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. Then I completed my master’s and Ph.D. program at IUST, both of them in Industrial Engineering—Socio-Economic Systems Engineering, using the quota of privileged students. Along with my education, I was not far from society and industry, and I tried to use the academic topics in the real space of industries and management as some part-time projects in several commercial and non-profit organizations. During my graduate training, I was also fortunate enough to serve as a teaching assistant. This involved assisting students with projects and assignments and occasionally as an adjunct lecturer. These experiences fortified my confidence and my interest in teaching. Therefore, my academic training and 11 years of experience working as a teacher, lecturer, professional researcher, and senior business analyst in interdisciplinary areas have prepared me to serve as an effective researcher and instructor.
I fully expect to complete my research path, achieve managerial and applied insights, prepare scientific papers and publish them in high-level peer-reviewed journals in an adequate scientific international collaboration time. I intend to contribute to focusing on quantitative methods applications, continue my research on concrete structures and frameworks and lead campus and professional service activities to enhance their productivity and quality performance.
