Profile information

In my doctoral thesis I'm studying the ontology of digital waste. Digital waste is something that we encounter in digital enviroments in forms of spam, AI slop and viruses – but also through the concepts of uselessness, disorder and excess. My multidisciplinary research combines media studies, social scientific waste studies and science- and technology studies. As an researcher I'm interested how the living with digital waste is entwined into mundane digital practices but also to wider questions of sustainability in a planetary level.
