I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher (currently funded by Kone Foundation) at Narrare: Centre for Interdisciplinary Narrative Studies at Tampere University, Finland. I hold a PhD in Literature, and a Title of Docent in Literature at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

My post-doctoral research project focuses on the places, forms, and value of a book (codex) in digital environments, and seeks to analyze 1) the ways in which printed books, especially novels and their poetics, are both affected by and represented in the digital environments, and 2) the role that they play in related value creation. 

The topic of my doctoral thesis (University of Jyväskylä, 2020) was the experimental poetics of the contemporary Finnish novel Neuromaani by Jaakko Yli-Juonikas, especially the materiality and paratextuality of the book. 

The areas of my expertise include experimental literature, poetics, contemporary Finnish novel, theories of transtextuality, new materialism, affects, book objects, intermediality in literature, literary experiments and avant-garde, literary repetition and excess, and (print) literature on digital platforms.
