Nur Samancioglu, Ph.D., earned her doctoral degree from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, focusing on evaluating the technological readiness of buildings and proposing corresponding solutions. Complementing her academic achievements, she holds a Master of Science in human-centered design methodology from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University. She has experience as a designer/architect in both Turkey and the UAE. Her expertise spans across disciplines such as Human Building Interaction, Smart Building, Internet of Things, Human-Centered Design, Pervasive Information Technology, and Human-Computer Interaction.
