Dr. Shenderova has 30+ years of academic, administrative and consulting experience in higher education. Svetlana has deep knowledge and underestanding of university governance and implementation of the internationalisation policies at individual, programme, university, national, and supranational level.
Svetlana conducts research in higher education political economy and comparative studies focused on the internationalisation.
Geographical scope of Svetlana's studies comprises the EU, its member states, in particular, Finland and Poland, and post-socialist countries focusing on Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Currently Svetlana is affiliated with the Higher Education Group, Administrative Studies, Faculty of Management and Business, Tampere University, Finland.
