I teach German-Finnish translation and supervise master’s theses in the Multilingual Communication and Translation Studies programme. I also act as supervisor for doctoral dissertations.

My research focuses on multilingual crisis communication, translation policy, translation awareness, linguistic accessibility, legal translation, mediation, agency, and the multimodality of court interpreting.
