Profile information

An independent game scholar and designer affiliated with Tampere University Game Research Lab. My dissertation "Hybrid Play Experience and Design in Tabletop Gaming" was accepted with distinction in March 2025. I am currently preparing my postdoctoral research project.

I am currently interesting to study play in the margin's of society, ludic identities and experiences, postdigital play, tabletop gaming, mediatization of material culture, game design research, and the intersections of games and learning.

Board Games, Board Game Cultures, Hybrid Play, Post-digitality, Game Design, Game Jams, Game Based Learning (GBL).
