National infrastructure for human in digital world

XR MAGICS project helps to fulfil MAGICS Infrastructure's strategic goals: 1) improve and extend the available digital and XR technologies 2) complement and advance the measurements of human behaviour in live and XR settings and 3) establish mobile XR laboratories. For example, the instrumented MAGICS theatre at Aalto will make it possible to conduct still very rare studies, where multiple subjects are studied simultaneously. The enhanced infrastructure attracts a broader user base of researchers, artists, students, and industry professionals. Project will allow MAGICS researchers to continue leading research into the impact of technology on human behaviour, social interactions, cultural expression, and art. MAGICS' strategic actions ensure that its activities and developments promote green transition. To facilitate the research by MAGICS' researchers and implement the development project, MAGICS creates a shared skills and competence hub with 21 technicians and engineers.
