Abstract
The article gives a general presentation of new verbs in Russian emerged in the fi rst two decades of the 21st century. They will be presented in the issue of a series of aspectual neological dictionaries prepared under the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) project. The article presents neologisms in following aspects: 1. quantitative assessment in the neological stream (about 1000 lexemes); 2. derivational methods of their forming; 3. analysis of word-formation affi xes and derivative stems; 4. semantic derivation of (existing) verbs. In the branched thematic classifi cation special attention is drawn to the activity of a group of verbs associated with the development of computer technologies and Internet communication. Occasional and individual author’s neologisms are also of interest for analysis and possible presentation in the upcoming dictionary.
