Abstract
Administrative data play an important role in terminology management. However, administrative data are poorly defined and classified in existing terminological standards. In this paper, we propose a definition and a classification of administrative data relevant for terminology management. We also point out some differences in the functioning of administrative data in traditional terminological databases and term ontologies.
