Abstract

This zine is based on an ethnographic study of multispecies assemblages that have developed in the Southeast Slovenian region of Bela Krajina as a result of activities in the domestic agricultural economy. The bracken's point of view is introduced in the first-person singular. Nonetheless, the narrative draws from the experiences of research participants with stelja and steljniki, as well as my personal learning about bracken. The text is accompanied by bracken and birch leaves, which I printed on paper using the eco-printing technique.
