Abstract
The availability of psychometric instruments is essential for understanding user experiences. Limited availability of such tools in Brazilian Portuguese presents a significant barrier. To address this gap, our study focuses on the cultural adaptation of the Gameful Experience Scale for Brazilian Portuguese speakers. We ensured the scale's cultural and linguistic appropriateness by employing a rigorous methodological procedure based on: i) translation, ii) synthesis, iii) expert evaluation, and iv) target audience evaluation. This work-in-progress provides a preliminary version of the scale in Brazilian Portuguese.
