    Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the state-of-the-art inkjet-printed energy harvesting and wireless power transfer technology on paper substrate. RF energy harvesting devices utilizing a charge pump circuit or an active antenna based wireless power transmission device are presented. Inkjet printing technology on paper substrate and fabrication techniques, along with a variety of applications, are presented with particular focus on low-cost and eco-friendly wireless systems for wireless sensor networks.
