Abstract
In 2013, two research groups---the Architectural Photogrammetry Lab and the Spanish Observatory of Heritage Education---were authorized to create a digital course addressing the most recent challenges in architectural heritage: identification, documentation, representation and communication, which means drawing in a global sense. The massive open online course NEP: New Educational Strategies to Safeguard Cultural Heritage, approved as innovative teaching project by the University of Valladolid, was offered during the 2013--2016 period to achieve this goal. In addition to reviewing the different approaches on MOOC-graphy to date (focused on the area of architectural graphic expression), the purpose of this paper is to analyze the course's strengths and weaknesses.
