Abstract

Primary health care training is a compulsory part of all postgraduate medical training programmes in Finland.
In this study, we wanted to find out which aspects of the workplace as a
clinical learning environment are associated with satisfaction with the training
period.
We collected the research data from feedback surveys from the training periods from 2018 to 2022. We performed a logistic regression analysis.
The factors most strongly associated with an excellent rating were a good
opportunity to influence working arrangements, having a supervising GP
with time set aside for consultation that includes assessment and feedback,
and a comprehensive workplace orientation.
Emphasising these key factors could increase the attractiveness of primary
health care center as a workplace for young doctors.
