Abstract

One of the main parameters affecting on the coating quality in thermal spraying is the temperature of the workpiece. The in-situ temperature control of the workpiece is especially important while spraying small and thin products made of aluminum, plastics and composites used in aerospace industry. By installing thermal image equipment to the thermal spray system the in-situ measurement of workpiece temperature is possible.
