Elements of the affective dimension of listening in On-Demand remote interpreting: The interpreter’s perspective

This study examines the affective dimension in the interpreter’s listening process in on-demand remote interpreting. The use of mobile interpreting applications has changed the dialogue interpreter’s working conditions and introduced a new professional listening environment. With the affective dimension of listening as a framework, this qualitative study investigates the effects of this change on the interpreter’s listening process.
