Description

My presentation unveils how Finnish and Russian universities manage their Master's double degrees including such issues as follow: entrance requirements, fees, funding, curricula design, student mobility and Master's thesis. In addition, I study the peculiarities in division of labours in Finnish and Russian universities as well as their reasons within internal institutional environments.

Both Svetlana and Sirke had the chance to introduce the project and some preliminary results of our research to mainly German and Russian participants. We hope that it was useful for the audience to compare their experiences of German-Russian cooperation in higher education to those of Finnish-Russian cooperation. At least we must say that the presentations of German and Russian university representatives were really interesting and enlightening.
