The construction ‘we with X’ often occurs – especially in spoken use – in the copulative meaning ‘I and X’. It is frequent in this meaning in East Slavic, but also attested in several other languages, including Finnish, and Swedish spoken in Finland (Kurki 2023, 2024). This paper presents a cross-linguistic survey of this function as reflected in certain parallel corpora.
