Tampereen yliopiston tutkijat ovat yhdessä Wirepasin kanssa kehittäneet uutta tietoliikennestandardia 5G Internet of Things (IoT) -ratkaisuille. Kansainvälisen televiestintäliiton radioviestintäsektori (ITU-R) hyväksyi lokakuussa DECT-2020 New Radion (NR) 5G-standardiperheeseen ensimmäisenä ei-soluverkkoihin perustuvana 5G-teknologiana.

    KuvausTampere University researchers have, together with Wirepas, been involved in developing a new connectivity standard for 5G Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The Radiocommunications Sector (ITU-R) of the International Telecommunications Union adopted DECT-2020 New Radio (NR) as the first non-cellular 5G technology to be part of the 5G standard family in October.
