Коронавирусный лексикон: структура, динамика, макросоциолингвистика

The article presents a detailed review of the research results in the field that consider the coronavirus lexicon from different research aspects. The author identifies the following dominant areas of research of this linguistic phenomenon: 1) the study of lexical and semantic innovations; 2) the discursive aspect; 3) the study of the media language; 4) some methods of corpus linguistics; 5) psycholinguistic aspects of research; 6) macrosociolinguistics. The purpose of the article is to present a comprehensive content and analytical synopsis of linguistic publications of the dictionary of coronavirus, its structure, typology and research instruments. The methods in the article are: systemic, analytical, inductive, deductive, classificatory. The novelty of the study lies in the wide use of data from different languages, systematization of research approaches and methods that discuss the specifics and features of the coronavirus lexicon. Main results of the study are identification of interlanguage relations and connections in the transfer of coronavirus vocabulary, a strong discursive justification, Anglo-American influence on different languages, argumentation of the reasons for the variability (lexical, semantic, graphic spelling) of key terms, demonstration of some techniques and methods of collecting coronavirus vocabulary in monitoring electronic corpora and ways of their presentation, the problematization of the English language as a lingua franca in a global critical situation, some predictions in possible studies in various fields of humanities, applied sciences, natural sciences and social and technical communication.
