Особенности организации курса «Управление терминологией» для студентов магистерской программы по межъязыковой коммуникации и переводу

Competences related to terminology work and terminology management play an important role in translators’ training. In this paper, we share our experience of organising an advanced course “Terminology Management” within the Master’s programme “Multilingual Communication and Translation Studies” at Tampere University, Finland. We describe the objectives and the place of the course in the curriculum, main topics and the structure of the course, as well as special software used for practical exercises in terminology management and ontology work. We also discuss some pedagogical consideration related to the implementation of the course.
