Abstrakti
The emerging pervasive ICT infrastructure with the "disappearing computer" enables citizens and patients to take charge of the management of their health and chronic disease. However, there are several barriers that hinder the diffusion of such technology-based services into the every day life of patients and citizens. This paper discusses these barriers in the light of an R&D project the aim of which is to support weight management with wireless technologies.
