Abstrakti

Effective collaboration is necessary for intricate building projects, yet understanding design and collaboration remains inadequate. This study addresses the lack of a unified framework for integrating these concepts. Theoretical advancements are necessary to address collaboration challenges in design. By enhancing comprehension of design, building design collaboration, and related conceptualizations, the chapter explores the main causes of collaboration ambiguity. A novel approach was offered by dividing the theoretical and practical design knowledge into individual and collaborative perspectives. In alignment with the principle of pragmatism, the practical consequences of theoretical advances are suggested.
