Abstrakti
Recently, two-dimensional predictors have been introduced and their properties have been analyzed. Later, it was shown how two-dimensional forward predictors can be obtained by cascading one-dimensional predictors in different directions. The aim of the paper is to apply certain simple forward two-dimensional predictors to estimate the future levels of the Danube River in Romanian ports, based on measurements from previous days and upstream ports. Experimental results are also presented.
