Through Glass traces the genealogy of the last post-industrial glass generation. It reviews its architectonic and engineer antecedents and also looks at the alterations that technical development, environmental concerns and "immaterial" culture have produced in the first transparent industrial glass. The show looks at the background of new glass developments that approach static issues, like structural glass, and those that deal with questions of hazard and security; but specifically, it focuses on optically advanced technologies.
